I’m thrilled to be working on a new piece for the Robin Cox Ensemble. They are artists in residence at Cal State LA this semester, where they are running a series of workshops for composers. It’s a unique ensemble – violin, cello, bass clarinet, piano, and two percussionists, and they perform aggressive contemporary lit. The piece I’m writing is a one-minute wonder, polytonal and highly rhythmic. It will be performed and recorded sometime in March. Can’t wait to share it!
